Yeah, it's a handy way to make sure that something gets completely scoped, and return does reasonable things with control flow, in JavaScript.

The "=>" operator creates a function, the first () says that function takes no arguments, the function is contained within the "{" and "}" operators. That whole thing is wrapped in parens to make sure the scoping is right, and the last "()" executes it.

I've been doing a lot of "inject JavaScript into this view", which means I want to scope things well, and get the values I'm looking for back out cleanly. Thus this bit of hideous idiom that makes Perl look rational.
