This is just WAY cool. Experiments you can do with traffic, and maybe make the world a better place: http://www.eskimo.com/~billb/amateur/traffic/traffic1.html On the other hand, having done some of these experiments before, it's obvious that Seattle drivers are better behaved than Bay Area and Marin drivers, 'cause people here will just go around on the shoulder so they can get stuck in traffic faster.
