So what can we do to fight stupid software patents? This is just the latest in a long string of evidence that software patents are a bad[Wiki] idea, but I don't see any hope of fighting these things effectively. Perry Leopold, founder of the PAN Network:

"The patent bar has been lowered so far you can trip over it if you're not watching."
