Well, with the end of the month done and bills paid, I finally got off my butt and sent $250 to the ACLU, the EFF, and The Nature Conservancy. Still up, some money to RAWA and Software in the Public Interest, as both of those prefer mailed checks. I've already gotten the CBLDF for this year, and I'm not sure whether to renew my NRA membership, before September 11^th I was just going to let it lapse, but I'm sure I'll find a few other necessary worthy causes. I should probably look at the participants in the current "Ashcroft vs Free Speech (Coalition)" (parentheses mine) case for a starting place.
