I remember this post. It seems to me that an official of the port authority planned to ride the top and touch th bottom of the bridge as it went past. Did he do it?

The guy was on the top of the cranes, but the Golden Gate clearance was enough that he wasn't touching anything there. The papers said he did on the Bay Bridge.
