Punishment Link

2002-07-09 18:24:17+00 by TC 11 comments

Ok, the purpose of punishment links is to <slap> complacency of non-posting out of the contributors and the community at large. If helps to think I'm DOMing/TOPing you then bend over Bee-ach and take it. I personally just think I'm a mean person and like using the stick instead of honey. We are getting tons of traffic but no posting so here is some pure evil that might get you thinking posting some thoughts to the community isn't such a bad idea. Even if it's just to tell me that's a stupid lame attempt at punishment.

OK, OK, it worked! I tried my first "main area" post just now, but that did not work. (When I got that second screen showing me my post and showing me a second copy of it below the first one, was I supposed to do anything more?)

[Never mind, I was just showing my impatience... it's there now, and I feel so *chatty*!]

Ew! Ew! I work in an open area and now all my coworker neighbors are going to think I like that sort of Web site. I feel duly punished. I have posted. Please, give us respite.

That's it. I've had it with the lame punishment overcompensation crap. I'm outta here.

Sometimes I just want to screw off my head and scoop my brain out to hold it under a faucet to WASH THE DIRT FROM IT!!!! Argh!!!!

Keep this up and I'll be forced to start posting some of my Joe Christ collection

But I will leave you with this image of the Gore's at the new TN estate...

Some of the other stuff over there at rathergood.com is, well, rather good. Like A frightened boy (well, at least the music is kinda cool), and of course, the 4-part triology of Tales of the Blode.

I want you to know you're all mocking a man who just checked himself into the Betty Ford Clinic. For shame, picking on a victim when he's down. Speaking of which, Mark Morford reported in this morning's Morning Fix:

"He realized his social drinking had increased more than he was comfortable with and he decided to do something about it," publicist Richard Hoffman said in a statement. "That plus the fact that he's spent his entire life being, you know, David Hasselhoff, is pretty much enough to drive anyone to want to crawl deep inside a bottle and curl up in a tight shivery ball, wracked with a deep fear of the flood of karmic agony and hellfire that will surely rain down upon your soul for all you have unleashed upon the world during your brief stay here," he might've added, if he had been the slightest bit articulate and honest, which would be impossible, given how if there's one thing worse than being David Hasselhoff, it's probably being David Hasselhoff's publicist. Or personal nose-hair plucker. That would be bad too.

Notes to self:

  1. punishment seems to elicit a mainly positive response especially among the female crowd.
  2. petej forgot his <sarcasum></sarcasum> tags again
  3. obnoxious midi is especially good (hadn't considered office castigation)
  4. Must take contract out on Markd to prevent him from pointing out future punishment links before their time
  5. Most evil people on the planet (in no particular order) David hasselhoff, Gary Coleman, Al Gore, Dubbya, Martha Stewart hey what if I put all those names into google and....
  6. never Never NEVER put all those names into google

Heh. Todd, even if I could post on the main line here, frankly, I don't have enough to put in my OWN weblogs. Maybe it's just slow right now, or maybe we've all got the summertime fidgets or something. (It has been harder to knuckle down and actually do paying work the last couple of weeks than I remember in several years. Must be the weather.)

I guess I find David Hasselhoff too uninteresting to even be scary.

Note to todd: Threebrain.com has some good punishment links too. Especially Weeeeee! Gonads and Strife.
