A Bay Area site?

2002-09-17 04:25:51+00 by Dan Lyke 7 comments

How many of y'all out there are Bay Area folks who might want to help maintain a site that keeps calendar and review information of good events, a less transient and more inclusive Squidlist like resource that might stray a little further, tell us what's going on in Sebastapol and San Jose? I'm not asking for much, I just want a critical mass of people who are tuned in to things that are happening, and are willing to do a little typing when they hear about something cool, or when they've been to something cool. Anyone?

Sure. I'd be good for the South Bay, certainly.

Stay in regular contact with all recording Artists and media (magazines, newspapers, webzines, websites,..) as well as serve as Jello Biafra's publicist. You will hire, train and supervise interns to help you with the position.

Gary, it was a bug in my parsing code which screwed up on certain sorts of unquoted attributes. Changed a \w to \S and all is well.

Okay, so I'd registered ShadowOfTam.com to do this, playing off the fact that I'm a north bay person looking for north bay things, but the rest of y'all are further south. Anyone got a suggestion for a name for this endeavor?

I'd really like something more encompassing than Squidlist[Wiki], with some better searching and categorization.
