Raw off the CCD, between 17 and 20 meg. As an uncompressed TIFF file, either a little over 40 meg or a little over 80 meg.

yeah, with a camera like that, you'd want built in bluetooth or 802.11 so that it could just send the images from it's cache or 100gig drives are getting smaller.

Oh, I dunno, a 10 gig microdrive (and I'm sure we're approaching that density by now) ought to be able to handle plenty of pics. Also, for most use, a high-quality JPEG ought to be sufficient.

Most of the high end professional cameras have built in IEEE 1394 (aka FireWire/iLink) to link to an external storage mechanism like a laptop or a firewire hard drive.

That's a pretty impressive report, For the $$ it better be. I'll keep my toy for a while longer. Maybe before next year's Burning Man I'll get called by a higher power to upgrade :)
