Two must-reads stolen from RC3:
- Washington Post: Search in Iraq Fails to Find Nuclear Threat. Remember those aluminum tubes? Yep, rocket casings. But this goes deeper, following a lot of the hogwash we've been spoon-fed recently. (From Rafe's observations on Cheney.)
- Saying "the pervasiveness of performance enhancing drugs all but eliminates my interest in sports", he also linked to a fascinating article by an amateur cyclist who took such drugs. I guess it doesn't take too much watching football to understand that physical risk is part of sport, and if the athletes choose to play fast and loose with body chemistry is that any different from risking paralysis from physical injury?
