Flutterby™! : Atlanta area Linux install fests?

Hey, all, my Dad is struggling with a Linux install, specifically he's been having issues getting Knoppix installed onto a hard drive in order to get a running Debian system (since I run Debian, I could help him from there). I gave him a Via Eden board and a 45 gig drive when he was out here, does anyone know of an upcoming installfest in the Atlanta area that I could ship him off to? Or a Chugalug like organization where someone who knows could dupe him a set of distro disks?
