Yes. It goes against everything I believe in in a food product. It contains no bacon or meat products of any kind, thus its flavors are entirely artificial. It contains copious amounts of salt. And yet I know what can be done with soy protein and... well...
I think there's a sampler pack in my future.

Hey, I can use this on my eggs and have bacon and eggs when I'm out of bacon. Or on my tomatoes and have a BLT without the bacon. There are no ends to the usage of this stuff. I can even put it on a biscuit and....

A very small amount of real bacon grease goes a long way. You already paid for it when you bought and fried some bacon.. and it keeps well in the fridge.

Despite all the noise about salt, it really isn't that bad for you, so long as you're drinking enough liquids. It can be beneficial in a lot of circumstances.

Yeah, I've mostly figured that salt gets flushed out with enough liquids.
It just always bothers me to buy spice mixes that are mostly cheap salt.
