Flutterby™! : Melamine in U.S. baby formula

Since food accountability has been on my mind recently: FDA finds traces of melamine in U.S. infant formula.

Previously undisclosed tests, obtained by The Associated Press under the Freedom of Information Act, show that the FDA has detected melamine in a sample of one popular formula and the presence of cyanuric acid, a chemical relative of melamine, in the formula of a second manufacturer.

Digging further, it looks like less than a quarter of a part per million, but since the U.S. hasn't set a safe level for melamine, this does raise questions (although at those concentrations I also have some questions because I believe that melamine is a plastic also sometimes used for plates and dishes).
