Looks like a one-time thing, Sea World was flying penguins they'd brought to San Francisco for the National Science Teacher's Association Conference back to San Diego.

I will be flying Southwest with my little chihuahua this summer. I am sure she would love it if they would let her roam around. She is probably one step down in cuteness from a penguin though.
