My Petaluma T&TaC appointment is up at the end of June. Anyone got final arguments about why I should re-enlist?

Knowing almost nothing about it, my questions are:

Did you, personally, benefit from this community service? (Knowledge, Friends, Perspective.. not money)
Did you make a positive change (from your perspective)?
Do they still want you?
Is there someone else capable willing to take the slot?

If: "Yes Yes,Yes,Yes,Yes." it gets hard, Otherwise, I think the answers are rather obvious. Of course, it all depends on if you have the time..

Good way to break it down:

Yes, I learned a lot about my community and how I can interact with it.
Unclear, but I think the last two meetings have started to push it the right way.
I don't know, if I hand in my application apparently it will be 4 apps for 3 slots.
I think this is the big thing. What does "capable" mean in this context?

I was willing to let it lapse this morning, but a couple of email exchanges have me filling out the form. Charlene's comment was "if you quit now, you won't know."

Sounds to me like you are starting to create some shift in a very slow moving organization. If you quit now, you'd miss the chance to really see your input have meaning. The only way you might consider not re-enlisting is if you felt a person could fill your slot and continue your efforts. That's the point in Meuon's last question. If it's not clear, then definitely re-enlist.

Well, handed in my application today. There are apparently 4 applications for 3 slots, we'll see what happens.
