If it's any consolation, wallboard is made of gypsum. There are some really neat cave formations of gypsum in Mexico. Sure the project is boring, but in it's natural state, the materials can be pretty awesome.

That's the first picture I've seen of humans next to gypsum crystals where the humans weren't in environmental isolation suits! Cool!
Gypsum is also the material of the Black Rock Desert, where some of us have spent some time.

Laying floor seems to be a disappointing single entendre, too.
