NOVA: The Autism-Vaccine Myth seems like a balanced look. I had no idea that the MMR vaccination rate dropped as low as 80% in 2003 in Great Britain following Wakefield's lies.
I knew that several studies looked at differences in autism diagnoses in the U.S. in the context of our anti-vaccine movement (and found that unvaccinated children were more likely to develop autism, although not in a statistically significant way), but going from 91-92% to 80% gave them a real sample to look at.
