I have feeling that there is less of a relationship between open source and open sex as there is between the 'Microsoft Only' folks and the 'Missionary, once-a-week, only after marriage' folks... And I guess you can liken the typical serial polygamy to the constant stream of 'innovative' OSes Microsoft pumps out. Every five years or so you have to completely change your infrastructure to deal with the new OS from them. Just try to keep that cycle out of sync with the divorce-remarry cycle...

Well, I guess it's the case that if you adopt Microsoft products you're not only well and truly screwed, everything outside of that relationship is also off-limits.
