my favorite is when it goes in to "quietly corrupting the code" mode. Like doing a "move block up or down" turning into katamari damacy. Or applying a fix-it completely mangles code on another line. That's why I do most of my editing in emacs these days...

Oh fun, I haven't had it do that, but yeah. My office-mate said "hey, did you know we have these Makefiles in our source directories so you can compile from the command-line?"

Yeah, I put 'em there for Emacs.
