Microsoft’s new AI key is first big change to keyboards in decades.
Ya know, I'm still getting used to four buttons to the left of the space bar, I was quite happy with two... three... and would be even happier if those damned things stayed mapped in a way that I felt comfortable adopting them for Emacs modifiers, as it is I'm using escape because the Meta key mapping kept moving around.
But... Microsoft thinks we need a dedicated button for make shit up Copilot? Without a "compose" key?
I hate computers.

Cuz Linux (and other OS loads) have done too good of a job using the Windows key for useful stuff. Gotta Embrace, Extend, Extinguish it.

My God! Could they have made the PgUp and PgDn keys any smaller? And how much longer until the space bar is the same size as those PgUp and PgDn keys?

I think the worst part is that those are the up and down arrows that are PgUp and PgDn if you hold the Fn key.
The trend seems to be to make the navigation keys super tiny and difficult to use, presumably in the same sense that scroll bars have disappeared. Grrr.
