I know of Scott McCloud from Understanding Comics![[Wiki]](/adbanners/lookingglass.png){kind=small}
and Reinventing Comics, but the first actually non-meta comic I've seen from him is Hearts and Minds. Pretty good, and when you wonder if it's going anywhere, yes, it is.
