Dan has an accident

2002-11-07 19:56:20+01 by Dan Lyke 4 comments

First rain of the season, and all of the people who've forgotten how to drive... Damn, rear ended someone on Van Ness, and that car hit the car in front of it. Double damn. Hadn't been in an accident since I got rear-ended in the accident that took out my beloved BMW in 1996, and hadn't had any accidents that were my fault, or even moving violations, in longer than that.

Responsible all the way around. Only cracked the license plate holder, though. Yep, responsible for both, cracked some things on the front of the car directly ahead of me, and some bumper panels will probably need replacing, so hopefully it won't be too much of an increase in my premiums.

Glad you and the occupants are OK. Cars are easy (expensive, but easy) to fix compared to people.

Dan, if you had had a big ol' pickup or SUV like Todd and I have been after you to start driving you could have really made it worth the insurance you carry.
