Dark Kabaret

Went to Dark Kabaret last night, with The Lollies and Kitten on the Keys, Bob Hartman doing some really cool puppetry, and Paul Nathan as the MC. More cabaret than burlesque, but still a hell of a lot of fun. Nice venue because everyone was there for the show, unlike some venues where the back is all chattering loudly. The only down-side to that was that there wasn't as much hootin' and hollerin' for the burlesque as there can be.

Again tonight in Mill Valley at 142 Throckmorton Theater[Wiki], and on the 21st at the Great American Music Hall[Wiki].

Word (from Paul Nathan) is that George Clinton will be participating in the Dark Kabaret this Friday, Nov 21. Two shows, 7 PM, 10:30 PM, but 7PM is already sold out.

Just got mail from Kitten saying the same thing. And apparently Rubberboy will actually be there too this Friday, he had some other gig and missed the show last Friday.
