Just so nobody is expecting to see me, before ticket sales start I want to announce that once again I won't be making Burning Man this year.

Beware of people following you near that time.. shadowing you..discretely, in an art car that looks like pink fuzzy bunny slippers, or maybe like it escaped from a set of the last Mad Max movie. Abductions have been reported, with the abductees showing up a few days later with stories of bright lights, strange creatures, sexual experimentation on their bodies, and lost time. So be careful that you don't attract these strangers from the strange land and become a victim. I'd start wearing clothes from Sears, get a haircut, trim the beard, clean the bumper stickers off of your car, listen to Yanni and vote for Bush. It's the only way to be safe and not be picked up by them.
Seriously, my heart feels pain at this announcement, so early....

It's just a matter of prioritization. The projects I want to work on aren't really Burning Man
style projects, either in scale or presentation, as much as I enjoy that week it's time that I focus on the things that I'm better at outside of the week.
I'll miss it, but there's just too much other cool stuff to do!
