Wow, we've got some real Newspeak
going 'round: The headline reads "Officials say Cologne bomb that injured 22 likely not the work of terrorists":
Twisted 4-inch nails littered the street for hundreds of feet around
the blast site, leading police to conclude they were part of a bomb.
So we have a shrapnel laden anti-personell device detonated in an inner city, and we have German Interior Minister Otto Schily saying "Indications are that it was not terrorists, but the criminal underworld". When did organized crime get the PR agency?

If organized crime is doing THAT, they are Terrorists.
In fact, I had once hoped that the 'War on Terrorism' would include
certain crime elements as terrorist activities.. Sigh.. We are too busy patenting how you click a mouse.
