This reminds me of a thought my GF had once when we were at a huge rave in Montreal, where way too many people had been let in. It was terribly hot and sweaty, everyone packed like sardines, no room for dancing other than shifting your weight this way and that - basically abnormal conditions for human beings, conditions which would normally cause stress, claustrophobia and whatnot. Yet people were having a good time, doing things people do at raves, without incident. My GF said "could you imagine something like this if they were selling beer instead of E ?" ...
