Dan, maybe you should give OS X a chance. OS X has the nicest looking fonts in its Terminal out of any Linux (or even Unix or Windows) system, which is especially apparent on an LCD screen - that alone is worth the ridiculous price of Apple hardware. I started using OS X about a year ago and now I won't switch back to Linux.

If you are just going to install Debian on it, why not get a mini-itx (or whatever) x86 box for 2/3 the price? That way lies working wireless, too.
And, fonts? With sub-pixel rendering on my Ubuntu/Debian system, I don't have a problem.

I should note that perhaps my ignorance of MacOS fonts is saving me a grand. That's some good ignorance.
