Quite probably. Also someone who managed to effectively find and exploit a cultural niche that was exploding, riding that wave to some fame. I was actually kind of shocked to find that The Feminine Mystique
only sold 3 million copies, somehow for the way that her name comes up I'd expected that it was a lot more.

And so, as you see, did her husband, and, though he claims that her descriptions of their married life in her last book My Life So Far are wildly skewed, he still does.
