I think for "reliable" you take the body panels off o' one of those and epoxy them on to a Honda Oddyssey or a Toyota Sienna.

Dayum. They look great, but do they come with a reliability guarantee? Or does the kid still have to keep his AAA membership current (and a fully-equipped and oversized toolkit and grease-stained repair manuals in the back hatch)?

Sweet. They are one of those high-end restorers much loathed by the hobbyists, like me, who do things like sand their bus with a $10 palm-sander from Wal-Mart and then brush on a couple coats of Rustoleum! These guys create the $20K-$50K market for vintage restored buses.
Of course, if I had a Porsche 356, I wouldn't do any less than they do.
