Aye, Nancy, those pics are from the "pocket" of Pigeon Mtn. I'd say it will be even more stunning in the next 5 to 7 days as more trillium open.
Meuon is one of the few here, if not the only one here, who can attest to what lies beneath Pigeon Mtn.

Thanks for the pics - I love the crossing waterfalls! And is that a dogwood of some type?
We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon outside and have been getting enticing invitations to go to someplace called the "pocket." Mike's under the gun with a project right now but soon we'll get out into spring... soon!

We will, however, have to wait a few weeks for "hooray, hooray, the first of May...", at least out here, 'cause I'm freezing my patooties off this morning.
