I *know* there are SF Bay Area readers here, anyone planning to be at the Maker Faire in San Mateo today (Sunday)? I'll be going there this morning, probably alone, and would love to meet up with other Flutterbarians. Coordinates upon request.

Diane,
I didn't see your message until noon, unfortunately. FYI, if you go next year, there's abundant free parking in the underground garage next to the Gold's Gym:

It's a reasonably short walk from there to the fairgrounds. If you're in the San Mateo area again, look me up!

Never mind. I couldn't park within a mile or so of the fairgrounds, and there were people stacked up wall-to-wall going in, so I turned around and drove home.
Oh no wait, I didn't go directly home, I went to REI and shopped for on-sale items for the trip to Peru. (That's as close as I get to impulse shopping, by the way.)
