Ah.... I saw Waits in '80, I think, at the Agora Ballroom in Atlanta. Six encores and I had to be back in Birmingham at 8am.

What stuns about Waits live is his height. He's gotta be 6'5" or something and wholly animated on stage.... like the "dark side" Tommy Tune.
