PointPointClick pointed to The Marmoset Song.

And, my Mom forwarded an email that had a few forward headers and lines like:

Losing a Friend...DO NOT DELETE!! You must read this!!

And

Thought this might touch you, it did me!

This is a very touching story about life, death and friends..

It's certain to strum your heartstrings and touch your soul.

I normally don't send out mushy e-mails to everyone,

but this one I couldn't help. .. I'm still choked up over it:

Except, of course, all that prose was double-spaced, and I thought "awww, c'mon Mom, I thought you were above this", but I clicked on the image anyway and... I was glad I did. Here's the picture.

And if you're in for the cuteness and the feel good smileyness, John Abbe mentioned a short film called "Validation", though at 16 minutes it seems a bit long.

And an Eric who doesn't hang around Flutterby mentioned a super short film, titled "My goldfished died today", at under a minute.
