Victorville isn't really a bad place. It's relatively convenient to the north end of the valley and places like Valencia and Canoga Park, also not a bad trip from Barstow. It's not quite like this is a development in Lone Pine or Johannesburg... coming from someone who lives in a small desert town though, I guess I'm prejudiced.

This is why.

Maybe the banks are right: Maybe they haven't been able to pay enough to hire smart people. Funding development like that in the middle of the Mojave requires a certain level of stupid.
