Geeks.com wooden (bamboo) keyboard and mouse. Yes, that's now the standard in my office.

The keyboard I really prefer is a 21-year-old IBM. Unfortunately, it was old enough to drink - and it did. Now I'm using it's younger sibling, a 13-year-old IBM, more like a PS/2 keyboard. My typo rate is up a little but not that much and my wife is much happier when we are both in the office at the same time.

DaveP, I went the other way, and bought a desktop keyboard (Kensington C170)with a layout and feel like my favorite laptop. My typo rate is down, and I've lost the urge for the steampunk clack-clack keyboards of yesteryear.

Nice looking, but I wish they said what mechanism sits behind the wood. Since they don't, I can only assume that it's the crappiest one out there.

But then I'm a fanatic, and If it doesn't use the Buckling Spring Torsional Snap Actuator it's crap.
