It was a black bean soup recipe in which a primary ingredient was ketchup.
So far as I can tell, the actual cooks on the Food Network might extend as far as Alton Brown, on his better shows.

Let me guess, either from Paula "Use a Pound of Butter, Y'all" Deen or Sandra "Pretend it's homemade" Lee, right? (Although there are a few other cooks on Food Network that might apply as well)
