Wondering if Apple's "blackouts, seizures and numbness" disclaimer is an attempt to sound cool: "iPad, just like alcoholism."

Remember Death brand cigarettes?
I could totally see Apple products in that category.

When I travel, I often see walls of cartons of cigarettes with [SMOKING KILLS] in very big letters in the "duty free" stores. It's always interesting listening to the comments of the people looking, and often buying: "Well, I'm going to die anyway.." or "Living on the edge...".
Makes me think if I was releasing a completely benign product, having a disclaimer like "May cause spontaneous combustion" would actually make it appeal to a certain segment of the population.
It sure explains the disclaimers (may cause... ) on drug advertisements.
