The previous issue I remember was lead testing, and that actually resolved itself sanely. I'd have to spend $70 to find out what toys need independent testing, and then try to get lab estimates for said testing, and...

Yeah, cardboard boxes (one of my favorite toys as a kid) will get very expensive.

What about all those sticks in the yard, If you clean some bark off of it, does it become a manufactured toy and fail on standards? If I hit a pine cone with it, is the pine cone (very flammable object with sharp points) now a dangerous toy also?

What about that wooden truck my grandpaw made me?
