We just put a metal roof on, and are finally fixing the rotten siding and painting various things. I expect the assessors office will swing by just as everything looks extra spiffy.

I actually got a small increase in my this year taxes from Boulder County. Their cut-off date for comps was almost a year prior and just happened to occur one week before the foreclosure three doors down finally sold after three years on the market. That house sold for $179K when every comp used in the evaluation sold for over $220K.
