Love it! To put things in perspective, the US Geological Survey annual budget hovers right around $1B/year. I'll leave it to Flutterby readers to parse through Google to see what all the USGS does with that $1B. And yes, part of it has to do with mapping Mars and running Landsat... And making maps (better than Apple!)... And monitoring earthquakes and the earth's magnetic field.
