Yep. I'm much happier with people whose primary goal is less likely to be social control filling high level roles in the intelligence community.

I'd rather have a CIA director that read erotica, even bad erotic, publicly, than a prude. You'd have to have an open mind, AND understand the dark side of people well to do well at that job. Such a person needs to understand the motivations and leverages of the real world.
