So expanding on that happyhooligans.ca link in case it ever goes away, we used double their recipe:

12 cups warm tap water
1 cup corn starch, stirred in 'til it dissolves
2 tbs glycerine, stirred in.
2 tbs baking powder, stirred in
1 cup the dishwashing detergent that we had left, there will be experiments to find the best, gently stirred in.

Let sit for about an hour, and use thick cotton string on your bubble loop apparatus.
