Yes, when no-one is around in (front, side or behind), I have slowly rolled through some stops to save some ergs. But even if cars are well behind me, I want them to see me behaving predictably, in accordance with the law. The predictability part is important. I expect them to behave a certain way and I want them to know I will be behaving a certain way.

Of course, I'm assuming they see me at all, and care. Which is the issue.

Yeah, I think some of that is Vox trolling. I do think that we need to re-think stop signs, but I also think we need to do that because automobile drivers are ignoring them too.

If bicyclists are allowed to roll through red lights, maybe they should be required to have insurance as well, because there's going to be a lot of windshields to be replaced...
