People complain that some of my stuff ain't pretty. But they are always amazed at how fast it is. There is a lot to be said for tables and some basic CSS when it comes to speed.

In this case, I'm maintaining code that uses Boostrap.js, and a particular IE install decides to hork up a loogie and stop responding to click requests. Others work fine.
But, yeah: I miss the usable days of the web in the early to mid '90s.

That boat's already sailed. Along with "web designers please let the content of the site fit the window" rather than a constant-sized stripe down the middle of a window full of whitespace.
