http://www.flutterby.net/Image:2015-04-11LaunchRamp2.jpg is, I think, the only other picture I got. If the course were long enough to get into aerobic capacity, and the turn the end and the width weren't a liability, it'd be a much stronger competitor.
Also, time spent feathering the edges of paddle/oar blades really pays off and I don't think they had time to give that attention.
