Gendered sports camera

[] Got this ad in an email from TomTom today. Really? You gendered a sports camera? A good way for them to redeem themselves might be to sponsor some women.

I find "their" a perfect non-gendered pronoun.

@TomTom's response to me was:

Hey Dan, we understand why you may feel this way. However, this is in reference to Billy. (1/2)

which is apparently their goat mascot, but I didn't get far enough into their ad copy until searching today to make sense of that statement to tell.

Overall, this comes across to me like Home Depot's "Man Card" branding on their gift card: I'm sure it hits some target demographic pretty solidly, but it makes me go "eeeeewww" and want to avoid that product.

Have to admit "now every hero can share their skills" would offend me more ...
