P&L Construction Adhesive.. You have about 10-30 seconds to position things.

Yeah, he says he used some sort of adhesive there (there are roofing adhesives that are nasty shit, but work pretty well). That's probably the right solution. Also wondering about just going vertical at that point. I know when we were doing the semi-geodesics at Burning Man (with parachute coverings), we just splayed the bottom triangles a bit to get more room.

For the negative slope areas, wouldn't some construction adhesive or contact cement solve that problem? I always dread pulling out the contact cement, because I know I'm going to place at least one thing slightly off-kilter and know I'll have to live with it forever, but there's times when it's exactly the tool for the job, and this sounds like it might be one.

He talks about how hard it is to stick the shingles on the portions with negative slope. I'd be interested in what other materials I might be able to use for that...

I've been chilling the last few days, with family visiting. And realize: I'm always busy, rarely watch TV, and have projects piling up. Expect for crunch times, work is flexible enough to let me do what I want, when I want.. it's a luxury.

And yeah, I have the saw.. and a perfect spot for a shed like that. :)

With a 3D sketch, from what I could see.

I wish I was better able to translate that into a bill of materials. I'd be tempted to buy a saw such that I could start cutting the lumber for a shed now and build it in the spring, because I don't already have enough projects to keep me completely busy all of next summer.

I know some people who talk about not knowing how to fill their time once they retire. Me, I think I'm going to have to retire early, just to catch up on all of my hobbies.
