Welp. This is everywhere now. Might as well mark it here, too: WaPo: Trump revealed highly classified information to
Russian foreign minister and ambassador.
One day after dismissing Comey, Trump welcomed Russian Foreign Minister Sergei
Lavrov and Ambassador Sergey Kislyak — a key figure in earlier Russia controversies — into
the Oval Office. It was during that meeting, officials said, that Trump went off script and
began describing details of an Islamic State terrorist threat related to the use of laptop computers on
aircraft.

There were immediate
denials, but then Trump confirmed the
leak. I think the consensus is that, yes, the President has broad powers to declassify
information, so he's the one person who could have done this for whom it wasn't illegal,
but...
It's damned sure that Jordan (and, yes, other Whitehouse
statements yesterday pretty much confirmed that it's Jordan) won't be sharing further
details of the plot behind this foreign laptop ban with us.
And by showing that earlier statements by McMaster and others were flat out lies, the
President further confirmed that we can't trust a damned thing out of this administration,
and the Washington Post is a reliable source.
What a bunch of fucking buffoons.
