A great rundown of the testimony: How we know Kavanaugh is lying

Yeah, if he came clean and apologized believably, I'm not the one to forgive him, but I'd be tempted to. But the lying and dissembling happened last week.

And, as Shadow points out, this sexual misconduct hullaballoo is a distraction from his awful jurisprudence. On the other hand, the Republicans are hell bent on getting him in place to get a solid decision on Gamble v United States.

Seems to me that it’s possible he’s mad because he ran out the statute of limitations "fair and square", and now this comes up to bite him. That’s not the sort of thing that’s supposed to happen to important men.

But yeah, what I’ve seen of his character over the past week tells me he’s not fit to judge a dog show, much less the law of the land.

There were inconsistencies in both their testimonies. Kavanaugh has been a lawyer for decades, of course he's picky about his word choices. This happened thirty-five years ago, and IMO it's not wise to hold things done when someone is a teenager over them for so long no matter what the stakes. It's his more recent behavior that's what's important, and as I told you before, that is what's being IMO deliberately glossed over, using this stupidity as a distraction.
