On Recurring Billing

2020-05-28 22:19:21.80603+02 by Dan Lyke 0 comments

Conversation on the company Slack made me realize: we've structured around assuming that the general use credit card is going to get compromised regularly, so the things we want recurring go on cards that only get used for recurring billing, and card compromise is now a consumer feature: It means that recurring billings I don't want get reset. Thank you, criminals!

Commercial plugs are fine, if they are relevant to the conversation, and if you don't try to pretend to be a consumer. Annoying endorsements will be deleted if you're lucky, if you're not a whole bunch of people smarter and more articulate than you will ridicule you, and we will leave such ridicule in place.
