Saved off for future reference, when I pull the CNC down from the rafters: Tweet of an embedded sidewalk marker which reads:

On this spot, at this intersection on October 12th, 2013, a driver in a silver Honda Civic came to a full and complete stop, even with out other traffic or pedestrians present. The driver proceeded to safely accelerate in a prudent manner unlike which has not been observed since.
